Volunteering program - Summer 2021 (cancelled)
Our summer volunteering program allows participants who have finished at least grade 9 to gain around 40 hours of volunteer work per week, while giving them an opportunity to develop their interpersonal and leadership skills. We are looking for top-notch volunteers who are responsible, enthusiastic, creative, and leaders. Volunteer positions fill up quickly, so make sure to register early!
Volunteer positions
Camp Group Assistant
Participants will be assigned with an instructor to help run activities for a younger group of campers and to assist in teaching a variety of projects. They will be expected to support the group instructor to the best of their ability throughout general and lab activities.
Administration Assistant
Participants assigned to the camp administration will get a better sense of what managing an organization entails. They will be expected to help with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, as well as to organize important activities, such as water games and scavenger hunts. *available on campus only.
It is not possible to guarantee a position in advance. Roles will be determined on the first day of volunteering by the camp administration.
How to apply to become a volunteer
Register for this program just as you might do with all of our other programs.
You may not get chosen for all the weeks you apply for: registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and depends on availability. Within 5 business days, an email will be sent to you with the volunteer application form. This form must be completely filled out and returned to us via email before the due date. Once the completed formed has been received, the camp administration will review the application and confirm with the participant if they have been chosen, and if so, for which dates.

Hours
Participants are expected to volunteer from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday to be granted their 40 hours, and are required to be punctual. In the event that a participant must leave early, a parent or legal guardian must authorize it through an email, note, or phone call to the administration of the camp.
