Girl Guide Engineering Day, 2020

Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders

The Girl Guides Engineering Day scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 on campus is cancelled. However we are offering online workshops to replace this event, so that girls can participate from their house. The collaboration of the parents will be necessary to help their daughter to connect to the online workshop.

Go Code Girl, 2020

Grade 7 to 12

Go Code Girl is an exciting opportunity for girls in grade 7 to 12 to learn about the world of programming. This fun-filled day of coding introduces the girls to computer science, all while bringing their creations to life and meeting mentors in the field!

Online teacher training: 3D printing and Tinkercad Codeblocks

Description: During this interactive workshop, you will learn how 3D printing works and we will present a new way to create 3D models using Tinkercad Codeblocks. You will learn about viruses and will build your own model in 3D using coding, geometry and coordinates concepts.

MakerEd Camp for Teachers: Raspberry Pi Bootcamp

Event cancelled: More information will be sent to participants shortly.

Learn how to set up the Raspberry Pi, blink an LED, and using other physical components to create some introductory activities. Then in the afternoon, take that learning to create some activities to be used in the classroom. Come get support from local Raspberry Pi Foundation trained experts to kick start making in your classroom and school.
