
On February 12, 2020, students from the Faculty and the university presented their innovative business ideas and plans to a panel of expert judges from the Ottawa community. Three teams brought home prizes that will help to kick start their start-up ideas.
- Ekidna Sensing, presented by Nicholas Boileau – provides rapid, simple to operate, and accessible testing equipment for the cannabis industry was awarded first place.
- In second place, IncoNav, presented by Manning Whitby – is an advanced navigation solution for the visually impaired.
- Lastly, in third place, Omar Husain, Jason Killen and Charlie Mitchell presented their idea CleanUp – a micro-investing platform for clean EFTs.
