Light and matter interactions always fascinated me... I dedicated much of my research to advance our ability to manipulate light.
I began by building blue and ultra-violet laser diodes to boost optical storage capacity. I continued with advancing modeling tools for planar lightwave circuits and am currently melding optics and electronics into large-scale integrated chips.
I hope that one day we would be able to use the advancement in information storage and transfer to improve quality of life..
