Natalie Baddour holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Master of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Following her doctorate studies, Dr. Baddour spent some time at both the University of Toronto and the University of Bath (UK) as a Chevening Fellow. She holds an ARCT diploma in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Currently, Natalie Baddour is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa.
She has worked in a variety of areas and applications. The common theme has always been the development of a model to represent a real-world problem and the analysis of what this model tells us about that problem. These issues have focused mainly on dynamics, mechanics and vibrations with a smattering of non-destructive testing or biomedical applications.
